My husband brought this rub home to me after visiting Iron Works BBQ years ago and we’ve used it as a seasoning for our burgers ever since. We mix a good amount into the meat before we patty it and it literally makes the best burgers we’ve ever had. We get family and friends hooked on it all the time because once you eat a burger with this seasoning you’ll never want another burger without it. We order it by the pound and are obsessed! I can’t say enough good things about this rub!

Went to Iron Works with family and bought some rub to try at home. It’s turned out to be one of the best multi-purpose rubs around. It’s not overly salty like Salt Lick and not too peppery like Rudy’s, and while somewhat sweet, it’s not cloying because most of the sweetness comes from paprika. That makes it great for almost any meat. I not only use it for pork (ribs, butts, chops), but it’s great on salmon and I’ve even tried it on steaks. I buy it by the pound and put it into a shaker with a little uncooked rice to keep it from getting too sticky.
